Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder is the professionally-known name of Winona Laura Hoowitz who was who was born in Winona Minnesota. Her name was chosen by her parents in honor of the town where she grew as a child. Michel Horowitz was her father as well as Cynthia Palmer, his mother are both authors as well as editors. Ryder's parents are both Jewish. Ryder believes herself to being Jewish. She is the younger sister of Uria and half-siblings Jubal as well as Sunyata. Ryder relocated with her family members to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. There they didn't have electricity. Ryder began to be a committed reading book because there was no TV. Ryder started taking classes in acting at the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983 aged twelve years old. Lucas was let go in 1986 and Ryder, then just 15 years old, was offered a role as a leading actor. Ryder endured bullying while in highschool. Her hope was that acting might change the situation. Unfortunately, it didn't happen. Still, she kept chasing her dreams. In 1988, when Tim Burton released Beetlejuice that she got her big break. Ryder kept playing successful roles in a variety of films. Ryder was nominated twice for Academy Awards one for her performance on The Age of Innocence (1993).
